      Don't work here... it's a mess

      Pros

      Free breakfast, amazing creative customers, good medical plan.

      Cons

      Misogyny runs rampant at Wacom. Almost no women in management and annual awards are given only to White or Japanese men. Every product launched in the last 2 years has had defects and needed to be recalled or fixed. Products are launched without necessary accessories/working parts to meet Japanese stockholder expectations. Competition is entering our space and we have no clue how to deal with it. And the in-fighting between the Germans, Americans and Japanese stifles progress and erodes employee morale.

      Opportunity to travel, work with many extremely smart people, long corporate history with an amazing Japanese technology, new CEO is very smart and passionate

      Cons

      Extremely hierarchical, major mistakes made by "old" leadership team and slow to hold executives accountable, Dilbert style absurdity is a weekly occurance

      Pros

      The product, no competition. Some of the people are awesome.

      Cons

      Senior Management is a disaster. So many turnovers, is like a revolving door. Is a lapse environment, at times lacks direction. The pay is below average for an IT company. You can't learn anything from the company, so the company tries to hire baby boomers, with experience. Benefit is ok.
