What should have been a great opportunity turned into a nightmare. Not a company for anyone over 40 or female. It is a complete boys club! The HR department is a complete waste of time. Issues are swept under the rug, or worse they are spread as rumors on social media for the whole company to villainize you. Promotions are given based on popularity rather than qualifications. Professional experience is not valued or seen as an asset. Issues have been reported to HR about harassment and age discrimination and HR stalled with promises of an investigation. They sent many emails, ultimately sending threats of termination. There was no choice but to save my sanity and leave.

Management stifles engineering creativity. Unrealistic deadlines from a CEO that is just a snake oil salesman trying to keep the company from sinking too quick, just look at their financials. Engineers work many unpaid overtime hours. People get fired at random without any prior notice. Very unstable place to work. This is the worst of both worlds, terrible politics for a "startup" and too unstable for a "corporation."
