Pros

Free parking in the driveway of the person who owns the home from which this company is run.

Cons

To be clear, this company is run out of a man's home. And he will ask you to help with the housework and yardwork. Only women are hired, everyone has the same title and general duties, clients are fly-by-night companies who don't know any better and often have trouble paying invoices on time. CEO often awakes and stumbles into work area in shirt, boxers, socks, bedhead. Seems like the primary business is propping up the owner's personal fundraising for his hedge fund.

Pros

Flexibility of schedule and working from home.

Cons

CEO is very cheap and doesn’t care about his employees. They are a commodity to him. He uses the company as a prospect funnel to his main focus which is his private equity fund. He doesn’t care to invest in Verasolve and wants to squeeze as much out of it as possible. While he’s shipping in cherub fountains from France to have installed on the company property (his home), he’s not reimbursing the employees for their phone usage or care mileage. Those are just the cons for the management aspects. As far as the company goes, they don’t invest in hiring the level of skill they need to do what the sales people are actually selling and they have no interest in learning new trends or giving employees new skills. They market themselves as an outsourced CMO but really you’re getting a manager level skill set. So clients are never around for long. Turnover in clients is high so money is always tight therefore no investment is made to improve on employees skills.

Pros

Office space is a nice space on owner’s property

Cons

Owner takes any and all business and allows biz development staff to big foot client leads. Mostly rebrands/marketing analysis/awards submissions for small companies who micromanage small monthly retainer spend.
