Requests for additional responsibility or for help with a project are frequently ignored or met with hostility. Don't bother suggesting a process or product improvement or asking whether there's a market for new features/devices. Research doesn't matter here. If you have career advancement plans this is also not the place for you. Promotions are non-existent and your job description and title will occasionally be changed without your consent and sometimes without you being notified. If you are asked what you think of a possible job change, it has already happened and this is their way of telling you.
