      Fair company overall, beware of office politics

      Pros

      - great place to learn new technologies - many talented individuals to learn from - friendly work environment - open-minded CEO in Timisoara with a great character

      Cons

      - very thick political organization, crossing the wrong person will get you in trouble ( whether you're right or wrong ) - low to moderate respect for work / life balance, however at least in Timisoara they pay well for your extra hours. Just be sure you're prepared to go into long nights occasionally and 1-2 hours overtime regularly. - development is very top-down; your opinion will be listened to but then summarily discarded; this coupled with office politics are the biggest forces driving talented individuals out of the company.

      Agile fast-paced environment, great people, but with a bit of politics

      Pros

      - great teams, nice people - it's a product company (not outsourcing) and you get the chance to build some great things (from large projects, to small applications) - good work relationship with the Belgium side (partners, not subordinates) - pleasant office atmosphere: goodies, fruits, etc. are always there, efforts are made to diversify and tailor to the wishes of the employees - flexible hours, get things done oriented attitude - possibility of working from home a couple of days per week - nice non-salary benefits

      Cons

      - multiple teams and projects are sometimes pulling in different directions and you might get stuck in the middle - sometimes Proof of concept apps get into production - overtime varies from team to team, but it is always compensated - occasional pressure to start a project without decent requirements

      Pros

      Met some really great engineers that were really eager to share their knowledge Easy to advance to management positions, too easy. Good salaries

      Cons

      Some of the "Business Analysts"(that are also team leads) show close to no empathy and lack people skills. The same goes for Upper management. The technical "lead" couldn't take any feedback without taking it personally and picking on others. Upper management sometimes gave absurd deadlines with no consideration for the technical side Too many processes. You have to go through multiple people and loops just to find out something that should be in the docs.
