Pros

Better salary than most financial institutions, insurance, vacation.

Cons

Upper management has lost touch with reality to teammates. Area leaders are not actual leaders and very degrading to workers below them. Goals are unrealistic with today’s time and the style of management does not work in this day and age.

Pros

Good benefits,weekends off, bankers hours

Cons

Upper management is done def. They want to be competitive but cut rates long before the Fed do. You work hard building deposit growth only to watch it leave when rates are cut for no apparent reason.

Not Worth It

Pros

Overall, my coworkers and direct supervisor were great to work with. We also had some regular customers that came in who I enjoyed interacting with. I received full benefits even though I was technically part time at 30 hours per week.

Cons

The work load given to this position was unreasonable considering you're essentially a glorified teller. Upper management was completely out of touch. They regularly made decisions that made no sense given our area and primary demographic.

Pros

Benefits are fairly good. You also get a pension after 5 years which is nice.

Cons

You don’t get paid fairly for the work done. Upper management constantly moving tasks from higher job grades to lower ones without appropriate compensation. Management also giving manager-specific tasks to lower employees that should not be responsible for completion and basically told to get over it. They will not fire low performers, but they will punish everyone for the low performer’s mistakes. Favoritism is so rampant that unless you’re so far up someone’s butt you can’t see, don’t expect to advance and be fully prepared to be one of the people they give their favorite’s unwanted tasks to. A lot of management is incredibly full of themselves and the egos are some of the largest I’ve seen.
