      Good benefits but a bit monotonous

      Pros

      Nice people, good benefits, decent pay, and friendly workplace atmosphere. People treat you pretty well and the managers and higher-ups are very good people.

      Cons

      The work gets very monotonous very quickly. Although they give you new tasks as you become proficient with previous ones it's honestly not very interesting work, you'll likely get bored quickly.

      The benefits of working at a laid back startup

      Pros

      Transcepta promotes from within as much as possible. This start up has grown a lot in the last 18 months and it's exciting to be apart of a forward thinking and moving company. The office environment is really casual, and many employees have the option to work remote. If you're on top of your own career, you'll love it because nobody is here to micromanage you.

      Cons

      The company only has 1-2 events a year. While everyone's friendly, it's not the most social office I've worked at.

      • The company has a modern, forward-thinking product. • The overall team outside my direct supervisor was professional and welcoming. • I took pride in my work and brought strong organizational skills and care to the role.

      Cons

      • My direct supervisor exhibited consistent passive-aggressive and narcissistic behavior that created a psychologically unsafe work environment. • Gaslighting was a regular occurrence. Feedback was often vague, contradictory, or emotionally manipulative. • I was let go within 90 days under the guise of being “too sensitive,” despite my strong performance and work ethic. • It was later confirmed that previous administrative assistants also struggled in this role, indicating a pattern of mismanagement that has yet to be addressed.
