Trading Post Coffee Roasters has an employee rating of 2.7 out of 5 stars, based on 31 company reviews on Glassdoor which indicates that most employees have an average working experience there.
Minimum wage
Zero hour contracts, even for people hired as "full time"
Shifts changed at last second, people get sent home on shift, never receiving the hours they were promised.
Overstaffing caused manager to let multiple people go within one week, blaming them rather than taking responsibility.
Expired food continued to be sold (month old cakes kept at room temperature) and no FIFO system in place
Cliquey environment
No shift meals
Twenty minute break, even on ten hour shifts.
Absolutely none at all, maybe not working until 1am but that's it.
Cons
Do you like your hours getting slashed due to labour budgets? Or working as hard as you can for terrible pay? Then this is the place for you. Absolutely do not work here, no matter how hard you work you will not be appreciated. You're just another number to put money in the owners pocket. There is no support, no consistency and no stability. No route for progression unless you're a managers favourite and absolutely 0 benefits. Avoid avoid avoid. The dole is better than this place

"Awful misogynistic management, you will not get the hours you need (we’re talking 4 hour shifts here for a “full time” position), you will be forced to work in other locations, I could go on forever."
