Pros

- Great place to self-development - Great management - High level work-life balance - Great feedback culture - Best operational organization - Best onboarding process which is continuously improved - Offices in Warsaw and Szczecin - Good level of transparency - Fair and worthy salary in comparison to the market - Clear way to promotion - You can work from anywhere

Cons

At this point, healthcare benefit is not always working well for me, but it's not a popular opinion, it depends of localization, and there are some ideas to improve it

Hi! Thank you for your kind words. We're delighted you see and appreciate the opportunities for growth in the organization (after all, our main motto is #GrowWithTidio). As to the medical insurance and the benefits, we're currently working on redesigning the package for the next year so it responds better to the Tidioers' needs and the feedback we received in our recent survey. We hope that the new options will bring you more satisfaction. Stay tuned for the internal announcements soon!

Pros

- offered salaries are decent - benefits help a lot

Cons

- upper management shows heavy favouritism towards select developers - because of that, there is no room for autonomous decision making - code base is poor - no one takes responsibility for the current state, passing it to people who left - insane dev turnover (one team had 4 different frontend devs join and leave within a year) - the feedback culture is lacking - the feedback you get is usually only criticism, without pointing to positive aspects of cooperation - muddled, unclear communication

Hi! Thank you for your feedback. We are very concerned you're feeling this way about working at Tidio. We'd like to bring some light on the issues you mentioned, as we believe it may be helpful to catch the bigger picture: As to your reflection on favoritism, it's worth mentioning that in all our actions, we aim for transparency across the company. Both the salary ranges and the job levels in the organization are public and available for everyone. In the Tech team, there are several job levels and specific criteria that force us to treat and evaluate developers' performance equally. Similarly, as we care about transparency, we also care about code quality and try to improve consciously. That's why our work week is arranged in a way to give developers space to dedicate 1 whole day every week to code improvement (Improvement Fridays). The turnover at Tidio as a whole company has always been on the level of the market average. Of course, it's hard sometimes to see the macroscale being inside one team. In every company, there is a thing called healthy attrition: some people decide to develop out of the organization, and some don't fit in the culture or don't follow the expected performance (however, when these situations occur, we always try to give feedback or implement personalized repair plans to find satisfying compromises). Certain attrition level is normal for every organization. We especially want to thank you for indicating that we need to focus even more on strengthening the feedback culture. As for now, every Tidioer has an opportunity to participate in regular feedback training and express their opinions on 1:1s with managers and anonymously in our biweekly company-wide satisfaction survey (Officevibe). The feedback topic is treated very seriously at Tidio, so we appreciate you bringing to our attention that there is still space for improvement. To conclude - thank you again for expressing your opinion and listing points we investigate more. If you wish to discuss the topics in detail, we strongly encourage you to contact our HR Team. The best point of contact would be Sylwia Majdak, our People and Business Partner, who works with the engineering teams. Feel free to message her at s.majdak@tidio.net.

Pros

Flexible working hours, the salary at first seems nice, most of the benefits are cool, the onboarding process was very extensive and well-prepared

Cons

The negatives posted here before by others are totally true - changes are abrupt and without any decent logic behind them (for example expanding open api for big clients then shutting it down despite huge need for it). The company culture is immature, many decisions are based on personal belief of absolutely knowing everything and extinguishing feedback coming from people (which is treated almost as a personal offence and ending in repercusions). Many times there are posts 'discuss it with HR' but that leads to even more problems even if the feedback is not negative. It's not possible to share opinions here, it will be taken as an attack. On the other hand there's no problem when the CEO says he needs to manage 'dramas' in the company and doesn't understand that these are real and serious issues and he simply may be undermining something badly. Top talent has been leaving the company recently which also serves as a bad benchmark. People leave from all sorts of departments, not only from development but also from marketing, support and even HR. Nobody with experience wants to work here anymore. And above all - you're not getting paid for your experience or impact. You get a fixed salary and you're expected to stay with it for years no matter how much you do or prove yourself. The management said it publicly that it's not their thing to give pay raises. Of course your workload and knowledge will double or triple overtime but don't expect any compensation for that (not even a handshake) There are also a lot of false promises about the impact you have and what will be delivered to the market and only 30% of it is true. A lot of initiatives are not strategised properly and based on very biased assumptions making most of the things get either shut down or left barely working. The issues stack and grow and the code cleanliness and purity is far from good. In the end I left disappointed I was baited with promises about what we'll do and what impact we'll have.

Hi! Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are sorry to hear about your negative experience and want to address the concerns you've raised. First, we understand that some strategic decisions may sometimes seem sudden to employees. Our goal is always to adapt to market demands and client needs, and while this occasionally involves making tough choices, we strive to communicate these decisions as clearly as possible. We constantly work on improving our communication strategies to ensure our team members are better informed and feel more involved in the decision-making process. Second, we are sorry to hear that our culture has been perceived as unresponsive to feedback. We intend to foster an open and supportive environment where every employee feels heard and valued. We always take steps to ensure that feedback is not only welcomed but also constructively acted upon. You also mention concerns regarding employee turnover. We understand you could have reached unsettling conclusions by observing several employees leaving over time, yet please remember that a certain turnover level is standard in every company. At Tidio, we aim to handle employee departures with care and respect for everyone involved. While we may not publicly share all details, we ensure affected employees and relevant parties are informed. At the same time, we also focus on talent development through internal programs, leaders' workshops, and an external training budget. Concerning compensation and recognition, we believe it is crucial for employee satisfaction. We're sorry to hear our practices haven't met your expectations. Our principle, "Focus on Impact," guides our strategic decisions and organizational development. We strive to reward individuals and areas based on the impact they generate. If you would like to discuss your concerns further, please feel free to reach out to us directly at pcteam@tidio.net Thank you again for your feedback, and we wish you all the best in your future endeavors. Best regards, People & Culture Team at Tidio

Pros

* Nobody seems to overly micro-manage; they hire people who know what they're doing and then get out of their way. Everyone is really good at what they do. * Just the right amount of process and procedure to make things easy without being overwelming * Great blend of synchronous and asynchronous work with some meetings but lots of Loom and text updates * A culture of always seeking out and giving feedback; everyone from junior employees to senior management is always looking for feedback * Not sure I've ever worked somewhere that has taken such an active approach for so long towards a positive company culture

Cons

Honestly, nothing yet. If anything, I could see people who have a more aggressive and hyper-driven personality not fitting in with the generally more laidback culture
