Best culture, lots of autonomy and extremely supportive bosses
Pros
The organisation is founded by a clinical psychologist and counsellor, so they really embody mental health in every aspect. Culture is amazing, extremely supportive, and great for professional and personal growth. Genuinely caring team members who are always there to help. Many people always end up coming back after leaving, simply because the culture is so good that you can't find it elsewhere. Work is cylical, some months are very busy, some are less, but overall manageable.
Cons
Compensation is not the best, but it has improved over the years. I started with them over 4 years ago when they were still an NGO, now they are a social enterprise, the payscale has improved and is moving towards market rate. Its still a relatively lean organisation, so sometimes you have to do work outside of your job scope - but it helps you learn a lot.
