Badly managed company

Pros

1) Can learn a lot in a young environment 2) Many new projects 3) international reach 4) smartworking thanks to covid

Cons

1) High turnover - people is hired and exploited for trial period. 2) No clear hierarchies - Colleagues delegate to new hired employees all the duties the do not want to perform, usually without consulting with management or with other colleagues on workloads. 3) No clear role and no perspective to grow in your (hiring) role - As jobs for new hires are unwanted duties of more experienced colleagues, you are basically thrown in the ocean and learning how to swim is up to you. I basically learned nothing about what i was i hired for and instead learned programming. 4) There is no team, all care for themselves and their achievements. 5) Work is non-stop, you are expected to do far more hours than 40. Boss also worked weekends to stay ahead of others. 6) No documentation - There is no or little documentation and you have always to ask other people for info, and people keep info to their advantage. Basically, they act like they're a start up but they're not anymore.

A company with lots of potential that is mismanaged

Pros

1. A young and fun environment 2. The opportunity to learn new things quickly 3. We are able to work autonomously and manage our time and projects directly 4. Excellent colleagues who are all hard-working and friendly 5. The opportunity to take part in fun events both in and outside work, HR are excellent at focusing on the growth of the employees and also making sure we become friends with each other

Cons

1. The management system is completely backwards, there are very few managers and those who are in charge completely lack a human side and are never available, it can take weeks to hear back from your direct line manager and in some cases they don't respond at all 2. The salaries are fairly low for Milan 3. The company doesn't focus on individuals, there is a huge turnover of staff, with most people staying only 1.5 -2 years, because people get tired of working and not being appreciated 4. No opportunity to grow, you do what you do for a few years and then it's best to move on to another company as there are never any options to gain more responsibility inside TLG 5. The offices are too small, a tiny kitchen and three toilets in the main office 6. The company moves people around too often like pawns, instead of seeing you as a person they see you a resource so can completely change your team, or role, to suit their needs 7. Aggressive communication methods - there have been times where the CEO has sent inappropriate emails to all members of staff and it's common for particular managers to raise their voices or be unsupportive of their team, there have been times where people have cried or walked out of the office
