      Pros

      - Good pay - Coworkers are friendly and care about the mission

      Cons

      - Very few working systems in place - Employee time is wasted constantly through excessive meetings with management - High employee turnover which exacerbates the "few working systems" problem - Management leads by their whims which negatively impacts workflow - Little to no consideration for collaboration, and management rarely listens to employee concerns - Management struggles with delegation - Management doesn't adequately train staff - An air of secrecy, management doesn't directly discuss extremely important, external issues

      Pros

      There is a very kind and supportive atmosphere for employees. You will have a chance to gather a lot of experience.

      Cons

      Since the beginning of 2024, management has changed which significantly improved working conditions. Unfortunately, being a non-profit sometimes comes with financial strain.

      Pros

      I really enjoyed contributing to the mission and communities we served. It was my first time working for a non-profit, and it was historically successful. Also, realistically the employees were treated pretty well.

      Cons

      Some of the projects did not always hold up, the office always felt a bit depressing because of how people felt about upper management, and the negativity sometimes outweighed the positive impact and contributions we were attempting to make.
