Colleague a level under my position was earning the same pay with less knowledge and overall banking experience. Sales enviornment is pushy. Some Managers are not qualified to be running a branch. Push work onto other colleagues and do not know systems causing poor customer and colleague experience. Toxic work enviornment, leaders can be aggressive and demeening towards employees. Causes extreme Low work ethic and morale. Higher ups do not care or show interest in everyday in store colleagues regardless of complaints against Managers. Favoritism is obvious. High Turnover, horrible training very unprepared staff.

As with most workplaces, despite any claims of valuing employees and not tolerating abusive conduct, if your boss is insecure and decides to undermine you the policies and personnel and promises will all result in the company circling around the toxic manager while trying to force you out. Especially if it is an overworked manager (TD piles on the work), then they aren't going to blink -- that will make the manager work all the harder having dodged a complaint. Win-Win for them.
