There is a toxic cycle of layoffs -> workload of people leftover increases significantly -> performance decreases/burnt out -> resignations -> loss in revenue -> layoffs again. Also there is no way to get promotions because by exceeding expectations you meet their expectations. If you’ve been here for awhile you’ll know there’s been 8 waves of layoffs and they are getting more frequent. (especially in the beginning/end of quarter/near earnings call) There will be more in the future.

Upper management has no idea what they're doing, some of lines of business they're invested in are super antiquated or an incredibly poor experience for the users engaging with it, if not both C-suite hides behind an "I'm your friend" veneer while ordering frequent layoffs that make surviving employees feel like they're a number instead of a human being. It seems like it's only gotten worse, judging by recent reviews. Not many opportunities for career growth
