Pros
I joined in March 2025 and have seen countless, clear improvements since then. (I think the previous reviewers were just toxic and wanted to see Swap crash and burn; those reviews are ridiculous and have no relevance to the Swap Robotics I have come to know and appreciate.) As a team member, I have clear direction every day using our cutting-edge work management software. Our logistics and management are excellent, and I’ve seen a lot in my 15 years since college—considering this is a startup, it’s great and still always improving. Our work processes have been improved and are all documented for new assemblers to learn and follow. Our management is not brutal—in fact, it’s the opposite. They’re understanding and thoughtful. We hold each other accountable for mistakes, yes, but we also celebrate each other in our chat groups when someone shines. It’s the perfect balance. Our team meets every morning for a brief moment to align and share anything important. It keeps us close, and we can usually tell if someone needs a hand or is feeling off. We have reorganized our entire production floor to allow for more growth. My colleagues at Swap are fantastic, and I have never felt more at home than at any other workplace before. The intelligence in the building is refreshing, and people genuinely care about each other. You just can’t bring a bad attitude into a place that has so much good going on. This place rocks, and I actually like going to work in the morning—most days. And most importantly, the culture at Swap is safety. Our JHSC reviews reports every month and addresses anything that needs attention. Reporting issues is easy—you can just scan one of the QR codes posted everywhere and fill out a short report. Breaks are now mandatory: two 15-minute breaks in the morning and afternoon so no one gets burned out (management genuinely cares). There’s a good work-life balance. You can take time off anytime, no questions asked, as long as you get your 40 hours in and your work done. Anyone who says this is a bad place to work hasn’t been in the real world long enough to know what a bad workplace actually is. This place rocks.
Cons
Dated building early 2000s but we are a startup and managing. Startup so anticipate uncertainty, quick turnaround on tasks and low resources until we get fully funded.
