      The managers. The ETL leadership truly cares,e and the CIO are among the best I have worked for - and I have worked for a few. The company has a startup vibe while maintaining a relaxed PNW corporate vibe.

      Cons

      Not a fast-paced company and opportunities for growth are slower than I would like.

      Pros

      Supportive leadership team, transparent communication, a fun environment. There is a wealth of knowledge and experience among every team of Pineapples. Lots of opportunities within the organization. The locations are strategically placed in some of the best cities in the nation. It’s a great place to stay and grow!

      Cons

      The future of the organization isn’t very clear from my level. This is exciting to me and I have complete faith that there will be a vast amount of change. However, I can see how that may make some people feel insecure or uneasy. I love the challenge and I know there will be plenty of it to keep me busy! Some people get hung up on not having a 401k. My best advice is not to hang your hat on a 401k but to invest in something that will provide better dividends or tangible security.

      Pros

      Not your typical box hotel company. Fun and energetic atmosphere. Company innovates. There is a strong camaraderie among colleagues. The pay and benefits are good. Leadership seems to genuinely care.

      Cons

      Company is evolving, still young. Sometimes ideas are not fully baked before they are rolled out. Communication is transparent but could be more consistent.

      Staypineapple is a positive, energetic, happy company, and their leaders sincerely care about employees. Benefits are competitive, teams are welcoming, and this company truly believes in their mission. Employee development is encouraged and programs allow for early leadership training. Truly the most positive place to work that you can find, and you can be proud of their hotels and the high standards in guest service all teams provide. (oh, and they are obsessed with dogs, which makes me like them even more!)

      A corporate style job, but you get to keep your soul!

      Pros

      I love working for Staypineapple mainly for the progressive and cheerful attitude. The leadership really does their best to think outside the box and adapt to our changing work world. There is a healthy respect for work life balance. The workload and types of tasks are similar to any reservation department, but there is an undercurrent of energy in everything Staypineapple does. On top of that, there is room for upward mobility, incentives, and unique benefits.

      Cons

      One con of working at Staypineapple is the inconsistency. Because it is in the hospitality industry, there are significant ups and downs in the work load. On top of that, new waves of Covid-19 bring fears of job security into the question. Additionally, as with any customer service role, you do encounter angry and upset guests from time to time.
