Where do I even start…
This is the most toxic place I have ever worked at.
Every department is at war with each other. People are constantly throwing each other under the bus, never helping each other. Middle management constantly hold meetings where they ask for proof and screenshots to throw another team or department under the bus. Therefore, everyone operates in fear constantly keeping tabs on each other. There is no collaboration.
Burnout and overworking is glorified here. People are constantly asked to work weekends or work late into the night. If not they then suffer in their reviews “ they can’t handle the workload and need to get better at time management”. Also, mental health wellness is laughed at. In return you do get lieu days back but often controlled when you can take them. Doesn’t matter if you’re burned out now and need a break now.
Higher management lives under a rock. They have no idea how their employees actually feel and frankly they do not care. People turnover rate is insane here and it should have been a flag from the start, which I have unfortunately ignored. They also track people and if you don’t log enough hours in the building you might get your hybrid working privileges taken away from you.
Unfair dismissals. I did not know about this until I left but there have been a couple of cases of people leaving very suddenly. Turns out the contract is set up in a way that makes anyone under 2 years of service very easy to let go. People are told to keep quiet about it as they are being dismissed for the most ridiculous reasons (like questioning the wrong person).
Honestly, if you’re interviewing I recommend you look elsewhere. Its extremely toxic, unsupportive, seperated.
