Pros
The hours were really good, the work was fairly easy and entertaining, most coworkers were fun to work with.
Cons
Oh boy. First off, this place is extremely sexist. Dish and Line are all handled by the boys. Girls are limited to only working registers and the bread station. A boy can be put on register or bread if needed, but they do not allow girls in dish, on the line, or at block. I was not allowed the use of a knife, as- this is a direct quote from a manager- "girls are more likely to cut themselves". Pretty severe roach and mouse infestation that really nothing was being done about. We'd frequently pull out all the booths and arm ourselves with broom handles in an attempt to kill the mice. Once witnessed a box of ribs get dropped on the floor, then picked up and put back in the freezer. Managers definitely play favorites. I was sexually harassed and even assaulted by coworkers that were given no punishment, it was only after I threw a fit that they stopped scheduling us to work the same shifts. Was asked to quit after getting a tattoo that I'd given my manager three months notice for and was easily able to cover, I'm assuming it had more to do with the fact that I was vocal about the harassment and threatened to contact HR multiple times. Higher management thought the excuse was bs, too.
