Poor Leadership

Depending on your manager they were flexible with working from home and I enjoyed some of the individuals that worked there

Cons

My offer letter had a promise of stock options that I never received despite my performance review stating that I met expectations. Senior Leadership tends to not have the best communications, whether that is withholding pertinent information from employees for far too long or flat out giving misleading or false information. Lastly, there is a culture of not owning up to your own mistakes and blaming everyone else. If you do work here, I would document every conversations and send follow up emails after every meeting you have to protect yourself.

Office is modern and open. Located in a great area.

Cons

Management is very green, rude, and encourages an environment where only their voices are heard. The company runs clinical trials, but management doesn't seem to know anything about clinical research or what it entails. Poor communication across teams, CEO has been caught talking negatively, lying, and gossiping about employees, and nobody seems to trust anybody. Funds are dwindling.

Most engineering positions (EE, BME, Optical, DS, DE, SDE) entail relatively at this company are relatively simple and highly mechanized suitable for people looking to lead a retirement lifestyle

Cons

Not friendly to those who require sponsorship The overall skill level of the employees is relatively low Management incompetence and lots of drama, completely in agreement with others' comments about the CEO and leadership Their mission is "interesting", as long as you delve deeper
