      Pros

      Parking, Great people to work with

      Cons

      No music, no talking, in lab. Employees have brought issues and made complaints about lab management but are feeling discourage because upper management does not care to make changes. In addition, HR plays both sides of the fence, ultimately burning all employees for the sake of making her look good to upper management.

      Pros

      To be fair health benefits and paid time off used to be ok, but got revamped in 2018 and screwed over anyone joining after that. If you like nepotism and boot-licking though, this is the place for you.

      Cons

      Overall a terrible place to work. Management is completely incompetent. Nepotism is all the rage here, completely unqualified people in high up positions. Toxic work policies contribute to the overall miasma that SPL is truly known for (no music, talking, headphones, earbuds, etc., etc.). Upper management seems insistent on making the lab folks as miserable as possible under the guise of "increasing productivity" and "reducing errors". Due yourself a favor and just run very very very far away from any position here!

      in hindsight, there are no pros to working there.

      Cons

      Management/ownership, location, organizational hierarchy. Favoritism, nepotism, incompetence. Lack of sustainable business model. Disregard for employees. Micromanagement.
