They don’t value you as an employee, pick favorites, low pay

Not cleanliness, doesnt care for their employees

Inconsistent scheduling. I went through about 5-6 managers while employed. None of which knew how to run a store. Most were hired above long term employees and hadn’t little or no management experience. There is a lot of pressure put on stylists to sell retail, however there is not a full retail backbat available.

Need extra training classes for employees

Company does not care about its employees Retail oriented Must maintain a certain dollar for your services per hour Are not flexible with scheduling Getting fmla or any other short term disability is nearly impossible Not understanding when it comes to being sick/family emergencies No room to move up in the company Clientele is very discount minded/cheap/entitled Does not stand up for their employees No morals Bullying is a huge problem Building Clientele is nearly impossible/not loyal to the stylist

LACK of education resources Lack of understanding and communication between ALL areas Horrible pay Horrible benefits Horrible attitudes

Management was a mess when I was there

They are unorganized as a company and always changing policies to make it beneficial for the company not the workers. You have to work a year to get vacation but you also lose your vacation on your anniversary date. They changed how they keep up with vacation time and most employees lost time and was never giving time back.

low commission no full benefits for a year as a stylist and my biggest is no walmart discount for smartstyle employees
