      Pros

      Independence in clinic can be nice to manage your own patients. You make a % of your total collections so there is opportunity for growth.

      Cons

      The management is terrible. The owner of the company is out to make money and doesn’t care about the well being of the employees or the patients. As a PA new to dermatology, it is risky practicing in a clinic without a supervising derm MD. Patients are not getting excellent care. They overbook and expect medical assistants to do the job of multiple employees. This job will lead to burnout!
