Pros

When they allowed work from home. That is about it. Everything else is still going downhill fast and has been since 11/2022.

Cons

Everything else… Everything. A complete dumpster fire. ESAT is low, they got rid of great management, but left Uncle Fester and other upper management clowns to run the circus. Hopefully the new CEO will clean up the trash and allow full WFH again.

Pros

- As a result of acquisitions, the price of company's stock rises. - Enthusiastic CEO. - Throws exciting kick-off celebrations.

Cons

- Toxic working conditions - Many meetings driven by politics and personal gain. - Decisions are made based on personal agendas rather than what is best for the firm. - Paying salaries late on a regular basis. - Unprofessionalism, particularly in middle management. - Employees are extremely dissatisfied with their pay. - Employee salaries are leaked out in some way, most likely by the same poisonous people trying to foment discord. -Internal processes are quite disorderly. - A great deal of dissatisfaction among personnel who have helped Sinch grow over the years, have taken on more responsibility as a result of the various acquisitions, but are nonetheless underpaid. - Inadequate response time and support for essential clients. Over the years, Sinch had bought a lot of enterprises. Acquisitions are happening at an alarming rate. There are a lot of overlaps in terms of job functions, infrastructure, products, and solutions because the corporation is buying companies in the same industry. Integration is almost completely overlooked. Who cares, though? The most important thing in the company, as one senior executive famously stated, is shareholder value and share price. Strangely, neither Customer nor Culture come to mind, even though the CEO has stated this numerous times. There is a significant gap between what is publicly communicated with analysts and investors and what is actually happening on the ground. Sinch does not care about people. Sinch does not care about customers. Sinch only cares about its share price.

Pros

Work life balance is good, unlimited PTO, 401k

Cons

Low pay compared to industry. No clarity in direction. A lot of employees preparing to leave. There was a stark about face as Sinch began to reorg and gain more control within the most profitable business arm of the organization (email). There is no cross collaboration to speak of between teams, simple requests for lists or ideas of product positioning go ignored. The BDR/SDR function doesn't roll into sales at all and instead rolls to marketing who safeguards their KPIs to the extreme. The VP of Sales on the email side in the US is wholly unengaged, unapproachable, and preaches accountability while taking none of their own. Sales org lacks an acknowledgement of reality of the current market and seems hellbent on projecting everything using numbers from 2, 3, 4 years ago. (This seems to be a common theme among senior leadership throughout the company) The product is lagging FAR behind their competitors in a number of areas. The wholistic messaging platform they talk about building is probably a full 2 to 3 years behind market. Payment terms are inflexible when compared to the rest of the industry. Every monthly all hands begins with the Sinch Side celebrating "victories" with a customer complaint by a fortune 100 company, and almost losing them as a customer, but ultimately, they made things right! If that's not indicative of the direction this is all going, I don't know what else is.
