Pros
* There are always people from the US. Most communications including US customers went with English. * Absolute job safety and non-stress environment * Friendly co-workers * Decent machines * Celebration every quarter with excellent meal
Cons
There are so many that I can't even count them all * Obsolete stack * Building and running software might take from 10min up to 30min! * Worst core code called "Framework" which is 2000% built using dynamic and proxying with T4 code generators * So-called "code reviews" are about 95% getting comments about code formatting (empty lines, parameter order etc.) and nothing about the actual system design or quality of code itself * CEO who also happened to be the Architect LITERALLY didn't know what the dependency injection is! There was no use of interfaces. In fact, every class is created by using 'new' keyword. * Any communication with management about problems above leads nowhere. The management team will answer you as vaguely as possible without any concrete actions. Well you already might've guessed that this list will never end
