Pros

Work from Home that’s it. The Company Sucks

Cons

Where do I start? The company lies to get you in the door. They tell you they offer bonuses what they fail to mention is you don’t get it until after 6 month of working there and it’s only $500. Only 2 sick days. PTO is only after your 90 days and when your 90 days is over they only give you 18hr. Quality Team is a joke just like the company. They hire a lot of nurses because they fire a lot of nurses in the middle of shift. They get a kick out of firing. Do not quit your Job for this Company they are unorganized, unprofessional, unorthodox. The company doesn’t follow their own policy that they set in place. The company do not care about patient care they care about numbers. People that have been there for years look like the walking dead because that’s how the company treat their staff. Company Micromanaging on another level. The devil himself created this company to use and abuse people.

Thanks for the review. We always appreciate constructive feedback in our reviews, however, this isn’t reading as constructive. I’d like to clarify your thoughts. * The $500 is a retention bonus when you stay for 6 months (and each subsequent 6 months). You earn an incentive bonus if you exceed expectations. We have a good benefits package of PTO, 401k matching, medical and dental, etc. * Our onboarding and training has been reported as one of the best training and onboarding by our team. You get IT support from day one - huge when you're at home. The training is thorough and supportive. We don't teach you nursing, but our combination of nursing and technology can take some time to get comfortable with. Whether it's 2 weeks or 10 weeks, we want you to be successful here, and make the investment in training. The quality team is promoted from within (best of our best) and includes both RNs and LPNs, illustrating the upward mobility at Signallamp. * I'll take unorthodox! We're not a call center. That's intentional. No patient wants to talk to a call center. Ever. At Signallamp, you work with the same patients every month and build real, long-term relationships. The job isn't hands-on like at the hospital, but you'll get to know your patients in a new way. Supporting patients over time and seeing the small successes is gratifying. Ask our nurses. *Patient care is our number one priority. Full-stop. We provide our nurses the training and resources to provide top tier care for our patients each and every day.

Pros

Many promises. Pleasant and nice people with loads of wonderful flexibility.

Cons

I was told the job was flexible and would only require 1-2 days going to a local doctor’s office, that it would require training in Scranton,PA, but that would be paid for by them, along with my gas and hotel stay. Generally places will provide mileage to cover the general wear and tear of your vehicle, which is approximately: 54 cents per mile, not this place! The pay was low, many promises were made, few were kept. My gas cost was not fully paid. Once down there, training meant sitting in front of people making phone calls - for three days! Hardly the needed training that warrants driving close to 300 miles! That 1-2 days at doctors offices, turned into three, and the promise of going all over town to various offices. Then I received a letter that I had been given PERMISSION to VOLUNTEER at these offices! The pay changed within a week, along with what was expected of me. I spent 116 dollars just on gas and it was 8 hours of my time driving, which was never paid for, I returned their equipment for 61 dollars, and of course was not paid for that or the 22 hours I worked either. Sadly I am not surprised. Their job offer with pay rate was sent through a PRIVATE site, and made certain I couldn’t obtain a copy of it... ironically PA labor laws state they do NOT have to pay you for training! Without my job offer in writing they will get away with it! They then reposted the position offering all these benefits which they never offered me. I am really not sure what this place’s deal is, but truly I would tread with caution!

Cons

Plays favorites, quality team is inconsistent with chart checks, weekly meeting that you do not get points for, increase in productivity goal frequently, no room for advancement

Signallamp is fast-growing and innovative. No one is doing this type of personalized nurse care management with remote nurses. From a handful to 200 nurses, and counting. Without question, we could not have gotten to this point without hiring capable and motivated nurses, and then elevating from within. A few examples. An RN has taken on the role of project manager for our software development. Why? How else could we create technology that works for nurses without nurse input. An RN is training 10 nurses a week remotely, going from classroom to Zoom, from clinical work to training. An LPN is managing a team of 30+ RNs and LPNs at a leading health system. Her proven capability makes her the ideal team leader for both our CCM and RPM programs. Many of our admin positions, from HR to IT to Enrollment, are now filled by individuals who were hired for one role but were willing to try something new. They found opportunity, support and success. Actually, Signallamp is a great place for expanding your skills and advancing your career.
