Lack of leadership at Shef. Management and "leadership" are all Harvard & Ivy MBA types who are robots with no EQ. A self-serving community internally. Hires inadequate, incompetent and inexperienced people to help the company and shoves them in crucial leadership and IC positions where they're in way over their head. Don't work here if you're looking to grow, very limited opportunities and no emphasis from the company on helping their employees progress. A lot of rah rah about the "Shef Family" followed up by no action to make you feel like it's any real community at all internally. Just fluff words to try and evoke a warm-hearted spirit that simply doesn't exist here. Subpar pay and benefits vs the market

- They're still figuring out people management - They try a lot of new things, but the overall strategy still seems uncertain - Some of the ways of working from leads' past companies have a heavy influence on the culture and priorities, and not always in a good way. - I got the impression that the founders took VCs' input as gold and didn't understand when to push back.
