Micromanager and Miser CEO- Worst Company to work with.
Pros
1. Funds are sufficient in bank to pay your salary on Time. 2. Few of people are really hard worker and you will learn some good chapters to work under stressed environment.
Cons
1. CEO is the big challenge in this company. Doing micromanagement, Miser guy and tracking leave records for employees. Doing weekly review is good but jumping over tiny issues are not expected from matured guys.. Which is missing from CEO. Commitments are not valid if given by CEO.. be aware with his U turn. Giving project to anyone without giving sufficient tool to complete that project is big issues. 2. CEO Expecting employees to work even on Sunday and not thinking about employee’s work life balance. Funny part- Leave balance will be credited to your account but you cannot take that if you really required to enjoy your long and much awaited family vacations. Because you are only entitled to take leave for 2-3 days in a row or in case of medical emergency. If you apply your leave for 4-5 days +, CEO will start jumping. No matter what even you leave approved by your managers. Encashment of earned leave are allowed by S&E act- Karnataka where– Every employee shall be entitled to preserve earned leave for 40 days and permitted to encash unavailed earned leaves; but in this company no encashment are allowed and balance leave will be lapsed in March(only 5 will be carry forward which are useless) . Wanted to approach with Labour office but not done that because had made my mind to leave this company. Someone will defiantly file FIR against Mr. CEO for this. Refer this S&E act under Employees’ Rights (provisions covered under Shops and Establishment Act of Karnataka) if I am wrong. 3. Abusive and shouting to employees as like rich people are doing with home servants. Good and senior people are leaving company because they are not allowed to work as per their prior experience and full freedom. As CEO is not respecting the good resource and treating ill with employees, senior people are leaving within 1 year to joining Shadowfax. Only friend circus (IIT) are working since long as all are friends. 4. If you wanted to join this company in senior roll, please collect some feedbacks from current employees or former employees. They will save your career. 5. Hire and fire policy. 6. No start-up culture as all are depends to Mr. CEO.
