You can work your tail off day after day and absolutely nothing changes — no acknowledgement, no appreciation, no one even bothers saying thanks or good job, just... nothing. The work gets done because you do it, but nobody ever mentions it or credits you for it, and honestly it starts wearing you down. I watched people put in serious effort and it just gets swallowed up like it never happened. Management doesn't even seem to notice when you're putting in extra. It's like you're invisible to them — the place runs because of you, but they won't acknowledge it. After a while you stop caring because why would you care if no one else does?

Working directly with the owner was the most stressful and awful experience imaginable. He is demanding, constantly pushes unrealistic expectations, and his attitude is extremely toxic and draining. Many people have already given up after only a few months and left the company, and I am strongly considering doing the same.
