Boys Club/Fake Family Culture

Pros

A lot of great professional people to grow and develop with. Unlimited PTO. Agile and relaxed environment.

Cons

HR will cover up harassment if the accused is higher ranking than you. C-Suite management works hard to create a family culture but will let you go without notice last minute. CEO had an all-hands-on meeting to tell everyone not to worry about getting laid off as that would not happen in our company and that we were like his family, then a few months later he laid off several people with no warning and no severance package. Several teams in the company still follow the boys club mentality while HR promotes the company as a diverse and inclusive workplace utilizing its few females to play the pitch to outsiders and investors.

We investigate all claims thoroughly and address them in accordance with our policies. Regarding your comment about sudden layoffs, we understand the impact this can have on employees and their sense of security. While we cannot comment on specific situations publicly, we want to emphasize that layoffs have not occurred here and are not a decision any company takes lightly. We strive to handle separations with empathy and fairness always. As for diversity and inclusion, we are committed to fostering an inclusive workplace for all employees. We continuously work to ensure that our policies, practices, and culture align with our commitment to equal opportunities. We acknowledge that there is always room for improvement, and employees working together to identify areas where we can do better as we grow. Feedback is important to us, and we remain committed to creating an environment where all employees feel safe, valued, and included.

Pros

Their is nothing I can think of that was exemplary to add here.

Cons

They have badge for diversity but actually treat people from diverse backgrounds poorly, 1 lgbtq person does not count as diverse culture. They tout their a force for good but have horrible treatment of their workers and despicable practices to keep employees inline, The are not female security engineer friendly. They keep a few around so they can get fake credit as being a diverse and friendly environment. Unrealistic expectations for sales teams and engineers, For a security product company they do not invest in internal security to the degree it needs to be they are the check the box security mindset which is dangerous when you tout to customers how safe and secure their products are. Their CISO is actually their sales representative. HR buries harrassment and abusive tactics that occur from higher management to employees below them. CEO touts family culture but doesn't actually live up to his words.

Pros

People! The people are great, work well together and achieve great things in the name of customer support.

Cons

The product is a problem, always issues but mid management is awful. Micromanagement is crippling. People are being held back, progress is impacted. Leadership is non existent sadly.
