Pros

The CEO is great. Shows a lot of passion and listens to your concerns. The Engineering team is very fast and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is very positive. Most of the employees are very passionate and attentive, but there are always a few bad apples.

Cons

Field Services management is a joke. They brag about how they read books on how to do it so they know it all. Important information pertaining to employees is kept between the management and they blind side you with it. There’s no real “warning system” in place for field Services. If they no longer like you for whatever reason, they just fire you. The Field Services management preaches the values of the company, but don’t follow them. If field Services management doesn’t like something you did, they just cuss and debase you. Sometimes in front of other employees. 2 of the three field Services managers haven’t been out with a crew since I started. The company pays much lower than others that are in the same field, some people are still on a low salary being forced to work 50-60 hours a week. Bottom line: Semios is great to work for, but only if you stay away from Field Services. The toxic management has began to drive employees away.

Pros

Taking control of the Ag Tech Industry! CEO is open to hearing the issues/problems with his company, awesome guy who loves the company's growth and the people that make it successful. 98% of the employees there are awesome and very easy to work with. Engineers are excellent in solving and fixing problems as fast as possible either it be with our network or the customer data and interface. Field service technicians have excellent work ethic and have the ability to tackle multiple task at any given time. Company has huge potential to be successful as it already is with thousands of acres already covered by the green tech company, is the only company scaling as fast they are. IOT is new to a lot of people, but its a big part of this company, the technology is awesome! 100% of employees love working for the company, awesome values and awesome growth!

Cons

Upper management in field services... not interested in well being of the technicians. They will give you a sales pitch to keep you working (or to hire you), its almost like its part of their protocol, as fast as the company is moving they need to cut the non sense and focus on being more professional and honest. They are quick to single people out, yell, cuss, intimidate and threaten employees with their jobs. The lies, false threats, the constant saying "don't poison the well", "where is all the entitlement coming from" when its all based off their promises? They are not seasoned or QUALIFIED managers to run an awesome company such as this, they do not take the companies values seriously. The run the department like a dictatorship.

Pros

The CEO is one of the most upstanding people that you will ever meet, and probably never work with. Pay is okay for Vancouver standards.

Cons

The entire company is badly disorganized. Entry Level positions and Interns are treated very poorly. Awful Workplace Layout. No room for engagement or to move up.
