There is almost no accountability. Protocol is rarely followed consistently. The training program is threadbare at best.
There is a prevalent issue with communication between departments, much to our client's detriment.
Nepotism runs rampant. Our sister company Sonitrol Pacific is consistently given priority over our side of the house, often leaving the Secure Pacific side shorthanded, and scrambling to accommodate the needs of our clients. This often leaves the few, hard-working people feeling tragically inept in the face of the sheer volume of work this creates, with little or no resources to complete it.
If you do voice a concern to senior management, expect to get no resolution, as decisions are often made behind closed doors, with little or no discussion or explanation.
Certain departments are so thin-skinned that if you upset them, accidentally or otherwise, it can have an incredibly detrimental impact on your ability to do your job. This is something I have experienced personally, and I can say, it is thoroughly frustrating.
