Pros

We got free lunch Friday. That's it. In an effort to combat the negative reviews here, they gave us free lunch on the patio. We also get free company shirts and coats which is nice so I don't have to buy lots of dress shirts. The fish tank is nice, but a waste of money.

Cons

I'm NOT gonna sugar coat it. This is not a great place to work. Every other review says that they give you the tools to do the job. That's true. Salesforce, marketing materials, contests, you name it, they waste money on it. The marketing materials look like a child came up with them. The contests are rigged. Everyone schedules fake "appointments" to score points for gift cards or groceries. Then, when outside sales goes on the appointments, they either don't hold or we put down that they did hold but are under contract and will follow up later. It's a lie, and I'm ashamed that I do it, but it's the only way to survive. What I will not lie about is that I was asked by a C-Level executive to create a review here to make the company look better after all these negative reviews. It's an open and honest review.

Pros

- GREAT place to work - you get all the resources you could ever want to do the job here - the environment is motivating, fun and energetic. - this is the type of job where the more work you put into it, the more you get out of it... this job isn't for the lazy ... you're rewarded for hard work here.. if you want to get through the day doing nothing and getting paid for it, this is not the place for you - work hard, play hard environment - best Management I've ever had and I've worked at a million different places... they actually care about your success and help anyway they can - the people that are hating on Secure Energy most likely were let go because they weren't doing their job and now they're sour. Those kind of people are everywhere and there's nothing you can do about them. They feel it's always someone else's fault, and never their own fault.

Cons

the only con I can think of is that it can be stressful when you're not producing the work that you want to be producing.. I mean, it's sales, so you don't always have impressive months, but that's how it goes. The stress comes from myself, not Management... but that's how sales work... you have good months and bad months and they're aware of that

Pros

Taking this job coming from a non sales background was quite a change in pace for me, but with the training, and support that I received from management has allowed me to grow not only as a professional but also as a person. This company is a family atmosphere in every sense of the word and I do not refer to my piers as coworkers, but friends. There’s not too many people in this world that actually enjoy Sunday night with the thought of work Monday morning looming in the back of their head but I know for myself, and most others here there is still a sense of excitement even after being here for several years. In my work experience there is no better and more supportive management team than the one leading us here, any concerns brought up or any needs expressed are met immediately and surpass expectations.

Cons

The only thing that I would consider a con working here would be the PTO system, as mentioned in other reviews some of the holiday hours can be a pain to try to work around and coordinate traveling, or spending time with family.
