      Great team, but leadership is out of touch

      Pros

      Great team members, individuals at the bottom are what make the company good still.

      Cons

      Executive leadership is out of touch, tone-deaf, penny pinching our benefits, squeezing us for all we're worth, making our jobs harder and not making the product better in any way. Common modern story of company sold to private equity and now it's no longer a great place to work. Sad.

      Pros

      Seagull’s products are industry-leading, and respite cutting back on continuing to build on this they remain an industry behemoth.

      Cons

      The company has always been deeply political, and information is siloed, with strong inter-departmental rivalries. After being bought out by private equity, the company is merely trying to squeeze out the most from all staff. The owners have been transparent about intending to sell the company since the 2022 buyout, so job security is poor.
