Pros

- Great AI Team Colleagues - Nice Offices Location - Normal Salaries

Cons

The main pain point and the most critical is that work life balance is quite poor in this company. A detailed explanation is: - Due to the aggressive pursuit of securing projects, offers are often made with insufficient staffing, shorter timelines, and lower budgets compared to competitors. This, unfortunately, results in significant overwork for programmers, with untold extra hours required to meet these unrealistic commitments. - Managers often lack understanding of fundamental concepts, leading in poor communication with customers, which can negatively impact client expectations. - C-Level executives constantly add pressure having the concept to "overachieve" in every project & customer which creates a drop down effect. This pressure escalates as it moves through the hierarchy, ultimately placing an excessive burden on lower-level employees. - The 6-month cycle evaluations often fall short for employee expectations. This leads to dissatisfaction and a lack of motivation, as the evaluations do not align with the effort, contributions made and what was promised to many employees.

Pros

Having worked at Satori for some time, I can say that many talented individuals have passed through here over the years. It's inspiring to collaborate with such skilled people who are passionate about their work and bring diverse perspectives to the table.

Cons

Unfortunately, the organization has significant issues that overshadow the positives. Projects are often underestimated in order to win client contracts, which results in all the pressure falling squarely on the teams tasked with delivery. This leads to a high-stress environment where expectations are unrealistic. Additionally, people and project management often seem inadequate. Team members feel discouraged from voicing their concerns or suggestions, either due to fear of repercussions or because they’ve come to realize that their input is unlikely to lead to any change. It's disheartening to see so much talent underutilized because of poor leadership and management practices. In summary, while the potential within the workforce is enormous, the lack of effective project and people management makes it difficult to thrive here.
