      Pros

      -You get free food in a kitchen that looks like a hospital for recovering drug addicts. - There are a few people there that are really down to earth and become great resources for help. -If you like working with people that do not really talk to you or in general then you will thrive. -Can help give you experience of what a start up company is like.

      Cons

      This Company is very backwards for being a Tech company trying to be in the now and create products that people want.. The office and flow of everything is completely disorganized and that is normal and never brought to anyones attention because no one knows how to control or create a process of how things should be done. -No structure to your work flow....You will be given task and things to test randomly with no discussion of what they want from you. -Micromanaged like crazy -Rushed work due to being given short notices of when something is due -Favoritism is all over this company -Hostile work environment -No growth or development by any means -High turnover rate for recent hires

      They pay for meals often

      Cons

      Management is known to blame employees for mistakes they have made. They do not take accountability for their actions, and expectations are skewed. Another previous employee told me that the owners "have all the subtlety and leadership ability of a wrecking ball". This company grew from it's early adoption of USB-C products, and now that the money is running out, they are desperately hiring and firing employees instead of concentrating on quality, and nurtured growth. I truly hope they are able to take a step back and figure out what is important again, because the way it is being run currently, it is not heading in a good direction.

      Good opportunities at a growing company

      Pros

      Worked at Satechi for a long time. Its growth during the time I spent there was a really amazing thing to witness. Satechi provides a good work environment due to its management and employees - great people who are a pleasure to work with. The biggest pro here is the opportunity as an employee to take on responsibilities you might not get in similar positions at other companies. If you do the work, you'll be entrusted with chances to prove yourself further. If you're interested in tackling an interesting variety of challenges, it's a great place to be employed.

      Cons

      The learning curve for certain positions within the company can be somewhat steep. New employees are accommodated well but also expected to self-start and be proactive within their role.
