      Sweat Shop for Rockstar Engineers

      Pros

      Rockstar engineers, Mind boggling growth, great potential to make money (for some). Working on a really wide range of cutting edge technologies. Lots of adrenaline.

      Cons

      Lots of toxicity and infighting. Management's quote "Rubrik hires you all to be in office at least 40 hours a week". As with most smart engineers, comes a lot of opinionated style. Very little room for new comers to get the feeling that they can grow just as much as the early birds.

      Learn how to become a marketer on LinkedIn. It is all hype! Learn how to spin sell like a used car salesman!

      Cons

      Sales Management Team is unexperienced. Ex Commercial EMC team that has never sold software. Product has serious flaws. 100% worst Bro Culture ever experienced. HIGH attrition rate. In 2017 less then 20% of the reps actually made their numbers. 2018 will end up similar. CEO stated publicly he only wanted to hire angry salespeople that if they don't win will burn the blding down on departure. This sums up the culture perfectly. Aggressive, pushy, toxic place that churns thru employees.

      Pros

      They give good salary Open board meetings

      Cons

      India office is not a good place for senior engineers. Place is full of junior developers who are overpaid and not good enough. You can expect very low career growth and any learning you do is self learning. No learning from peers at all Work is mostly what the US office doesn't want to do. All product managers are in us, so expect late night calls too. Indian managers are just average at best.
