Don't Fall for it

Pros

The company pays for health insurance, offers kegs in office, and brings in food for purchase twice a week. The lower-level employees that grind in the trenches are so great, and make mundane work somewhat livable.

Cons

The company does not value anything more than the profits you bring, and they have made that apparent. We were told the company highly values work/life balance, and then were immediately expected to work 55-60 hour weeks to increase revenue, even if we individually had hit our goals. Commission is paid out scarcely and irregularly, with lack of any transparency on how much you earn. OTE's are heavily inflated. Employees have received disrespect from management. I would never wish this professional experience on a friend.

Pros

- Phenomenal health benefits. - Fair compensation. - Remote work. - Unlimited PTO for salaried employees.

Cons

- Absolutely no culture or values. Working for Rubicon is like biting tofu. Bland, no taste, no flavor, nothing interesting. It is a job and it pays. That's it. I always feel disconnected, lonely. No diversity. Leadership team is all white-boys club, honestly they all look like @AustinNasso characters. Last tiny bit of diversity & culture effort is gone with Elizabeth M. - No one knows anything. Everyone relies on other parties to correct some part of their work. Everyone does a half-ass job. Lack of training is an issue. Not being able to shadow people to learn is an issue. - No job security. Every morning I woke up thinking this was my last day. Multiple waves of layoffs happened in the last 6 months. Definitely not a good mood. Rubicon became a penny stock company pretty quickly. It's been released that Rubicon might be profitable in Q4 23. That's a loooooong way. - This is unfortunately not a SaaS company, this is a trash brokerage company with a nice UX facade. The massive amount of manual work at the background needs to be automated.
