• the people are kind, smart and passionate • the product is interesting and robust • the ideas they have going forward are interesting and have promise • there is lots to be learned
Cons
• communication is often bad, especially between teams • miscommunication is very common • people often end up siloed • projects and teams can be extremely disorganized • there is a hesitance to adopt new things (methodologies, technologies, approaches, so on and so forth) • seen multiple team members dismissed/leave with no acknowledgement • while not omnipresent, micromanagement is still present • while not major, have seen minor forms of casual intolerance
