Cons

Discalimer: RANT against Rolustech. I am a SSE with 6+ years experience.Jan 2020 I resigned from 'Rolustech'.I won't be lying if I say those 8 months I served in that company was pure torture when it comes to management and mental peace. I joined RT on 15/04/19 as a SSE. On my joining date I was given a contract which had a clause, "Company has the right to deduct one month salary if u resign with in 1 year of employment here", upon asking, HR manager told me that this clause is only for the fresh resources, n as u are an experienced resource and there won't be any proper training required for u this clause will not be implemented on u, hearing that assurance and also that I wanted to be a part of RT for a longer period of time, I signed that contract. (Such a fool I was I know , but I had no idea it will come back to bite me) Due to major issues (I wish I could list all the torture I faced there) I had to resign from RT on 17/12/19. I completed my one month notice period (17/12/19 - 20/1/20) professionally, transferred the whole domain to the next person, I wasn't informed in any verbal or written way that I won't be getting my salary or anything, I had no meeting with HR defining me the clauses that will be implemented on me. On 3/2/20 through a call I was told that I will not be getting salary for 17 working days of Jan and also 13 days salary will be deducted from my PF, due to the clause mentioned above, I informed the current HR, that I was told this clause is for fresh resources, also that I know resource who has resigned just a month before me were given salaries and PF without any deduction. She told me she will discuss this with Senior Management but later on 4/2/20 I was told that Senior Manager has asked her to implement that clause on me whatsoever. I emailed CTO explaining the whole issue and requested him to release my salary and PF without any deduction but I didn't get any positive response from him as well. Resigning from RT was my last choice, I had major adjustment issues there which I informed the manager there time to time, ultimately I had to resign to keep my mental health intact. I felt so demotivated and unacknowledged in RT. My increment was due in October (according to contract) I was given my review form but no action was made after that, even with all the issues I ended my job with proper professional behavior. I fully acknowledge that they have my signatures on the agreement, but I did what I was told to do, I trusted this organization n they did all this just to make things worst for me. I dont regret leaving RT it was a valuable lesson but I was at a point where I didn't care about the money, but I did want to teach them a lesson not to manipulate n disturb someone's mental peace with such tactics,I know I won't get my money still I registered a case against them (still in progress)

Pros

i) Wallet parking. ii) Competitive Salaries. iii) Office location is in Central Lahore. iv) Good secure environment for women.

Cons

i) Upper management displays severe lack of accountability and appears more focused on protecting their positions than owning outcomes. This leads to an environment where responsibility is frequently deflected to hardworking employees. ii) Managers tend to engage in extreme micromanagement, often recalling minor misstatements or even slight imperfections without ever providing constructive feedback in the moment for improvement. These observations typically resurface only during performance reviews and feel more like traps. iii) There is little to no channel for employee feedback. Input is rarely sought on benefits, admin, or workplace conditions. The only time HR shows genuine cooperation is during the resignation process. iv) A significant number of employees accept equal or even lower-paying roles elsewhere, which speaks volumes about the internal environment.
