Absolute scam

Pros

I can put on my CV I was a sales rep…

Cons

This company does not inform you at all during the hiring process until you have fully committed to the role that if you do not hit target then you will not be paid your base salary… it’s a complete scam and incredibly unbecoming of company to take no risk whatsoever on hiring someone and instead to put all risk on the individual. Nor did they tell applicants it will be door to door sales, my first week without any training I was asked to knock on doors.

Pros

A clear, performance‑based progression track — promotions and leadership opportunities aren’t time‑based but merit‑based. It is described as an energetic, supportive team environment where colleagues encourage each other and celebrate wins.

Cons

Base salary isn’t guaranteed and that a promised wage is actually tied to hitting sales targets — sometimes without clear documentation. Because you’re out meeting people all day, it can be taxing physically and emotionally — not great if you prefer structured office hours. not being told ahead of time that the role involved knocking on doors and cold‑engaging the public.

Pros

Application was responded to very quickly, interviews and contracts followed within the week. Supervisors were cooperative in up-skilling the employee and the company’s clients (BT/EE, British Gas, Milk&More) seemed impressive.

Cons

A promise was made of a salary in the job description and induction, but this turned out to be a set payment barred behind a sales target. The supervisors were unable to demonstrate this sales target being met despite requiring it of the new recruit. Travel to locations would not be subsidised, and the locations themselves would be revealed to the employee at very short notice. A general lack of professionalism in regards to communication and organisation was glaringly apparent. Supervisors would often showcase unsuitable behaviour on the field such as putting on accents or speaking ill of the residents. Supervisors would still be subject to the training pay even after being promoted.
