Pros

I am thinking, I am thinking, but nothing comes to my mind.

Cons

If you are considering a position at Red Acre, I urge you to read this review carefully and consider your options elsewhere. I was hired to lead the content and SEO strategy for two iGaming projects they launched last year. Despite our team’s exceptional performance, even under severely restricted budgets, we were inexplicably dismissed. The contradiction is blatant: how does a company justify laying off one of its most productive and successful teams? Management at Red Acre is profoundly disconnected from the realities of their own business. While they flaunt their new Lamborghini on social media, their company flounders in EXTREME mismanagement and VERY poor financial decisions that have led to massive layoffs (dozens, if not hundreds). This company is a sinking ship, really. Remember the fate of a certain famous ship in 1912? Well, Red Acre is charting a similar course, folks. Every aspect of its operation is being cut back, and it is only a matter of time before it shuts down ENTIRELY. Do not be fooled by the slew of positive reviews recently posted on Glassdoor. They are internally produced fabrications, a desperate attempt to mask the chaos within. EVERY recruiter in Malta is aware of the situation at Red Acre (that says a lot...). I highly discourage applying to or accepting a job here. The company’s flashy exterior grossly misrepresents the dire state of its internal affairs. Consider this not just a review, but a formal warning.

Pros

Colleagues became a family and as a family, we all got made redundant together.

Cons

1) While the owner focuses on boasting on Instagram about how he made 750k on one trade and bought a new lambo, he is simultaneously letting go of over a 100 people. 2) People occupying C-Level positions barely know how to run on their feet, let alone how to run a company. 3) HR is a joke, enforcing irrelevant company rules (which made sense during covid times, but its 2024 now) instead of doing their job and hiring the right people to keep the company going. 4) If you are friends with the COO or CTO, you automatically have a "I CAN DO WHAT I WANT AND TREAT PEOPLE HOW I WANT " pass. 5) Tenure and employee ability are irrelevant when it comes to progression 6) If you are in General support, you are treated like scum 7) The company culture went from creating innovation to patch these errors up and we see tomorrow. 8) Owner would rather sponsor joke fake rappers or throw a 300k summer party,, fly in people from around the world, on private jets, just to get Instagram Clout, instead of actually saving his own company.

Pros

Some great people working and worked there at the time I was there. They try to promote a great culture on the surface.

Cons

The company has a deep trust issue and it sets up the departments to work against each other, the end result is that nothing gets accomplished because everyone is trying to not to be held accountable. There are also some toxic members of leadership and some who have been there since it’s inception and they constantly look to throw people under the bus.
