      Pros

      x People can be casually friendly x Can start from knowing nothing to learning a lot x Nothing stopping you from trying new things x If you keep your head down then you can work your 9-5

      Cons

      x A company culture of blame and backstabbing x No limit on what's expected or 'reasonable', have to be firm to avoid unreasonable workload x No guidance, official training, you're thrown in at the deep end x The most basic pay, holiday and statutory sick.

      - People are friendly to your face

      Cons

      - Management didn’t know how to manage - training was just ‘have a look through the catalogue and let me know if you have any questions’ - some lazy staff never got told they were lazy breeding a poor environment for those that did try hard - no praise given where it’s due - no room for progression (unless you make it in to the clique with the sales director then you’ll be given all the pay rises in the world, as well as yearly paid trips for over a week to Dubai even when the lighting expo is only a few days (trip was not based on highest performer/top sales performer etc - just MDs personally favourites) - above all makes for a toxic work environment - they would offer us love to shop vouchers to write good reviews on here as it was so poor (so bear that in mind when looking at good reviews - they got paid to do so) - staff turn over is huge - office is run down

      Pros

      Extremely laid back, the managers don't do any work so you may as well do nothing with them.

      Cons

      QVIS breeds a lazy and negative work ethic, if you do a good job you are not praised and if you do a bad job no one does anything about it anyway. You only get promoted if you are cushty with the directors i.e. sons of the CEO. They will make it impossible for you to grow and hit target and they will never change. Little to no training at all. Management come in when they want, and leave when they want. I can assure you, if you spend a month here you will want to have the place shut down.

As an employer, we always strive to make our staff feel valued and take our employees training and development seriously. We always try to make sure that all staff in all areas of our business are provided with adequate and sufficient training. And we are sorry if you felt that we fell short on this occasion. As a company, we always try to promote and develop our team. I disagree with your statement about the director and can assure you that any personal development is unbiased and follows a procedure set out and implemented by our HR team. Our sales teams are given achievable targets, and our current team often achieves and exceeds these; I am sorry if you felt that your target was not achievable. Targets are, however, set at the same levels for everyone and again follow a procedure.
