Pros

Ability to work remotely if necessary

Cons

The company goes through CMOs every other year. Without any consistent leadership at the top, the Marketing department is left to it's own devices and those are not always correct. When things go wrong and Sales doesn't meet their numbers, all fingers point to Marketing, even if the data supports the fact that Marketing has done it's job. The Marketing department has also been threatened numerous times that the department will be outsourced. At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if it was within the next 6 months.

Pros

Work from home. Good base salary, some friendly helpful people

Cons

No training, no support from management, no positive motivation. Not the best experience unfortunately.

Pros

Decent technology but way too spread out and it gets complicated fast.

Cons

Management does not help motivate employees. Technology too vast and complicated. Training doesn't exist. Sink or swim mentality. Employees with more knowledge tend to get treated better.

Thanks for your constructive comments. We do have a broad platform for protecting data in large and complex enterprises. Indeed, this is our unique differentiation in the market, but it does necessitate having protection capability from mainframe to the newest tech, small data to big data, on-prem to the cloud and back. In the last 2+ years we have worked on better componentizing our technology stack and doc set, and streamlining the build/test/release/patch process through automation, to simplify the learning-curve for new hires and become productive more quickly. We have also instituted new training programs over the last year, so there does exist formal curriculum for learning our products, as well as relevant tech like Amazon, micro-services, Hadoop and so forth. Current employees should ask their managers, or contact our training manager directly, to find out more.
