Pros

+ The pay was nice sometimes. + Tips were given out after a week or two (as long as there was enough). + You feel special during the first week or two, even when training is usually a mess.

Cons

- We had to use our own cars for awhile. (Only specific people got to use the two work vehicles.) - The mileage reimbursement was not enough. - Blatant sexism, racism, stereotyping, and favoritism was an ongoing problem. (We had an African-American girl working for twice as long as me and she was given 11/hr and I was given 14/hr. We did the same job, and she was better than me in specific areas. She didn't ever get a raise.) (We had many diverse clients to clean for in Boise and Meridian. There were times when the girls were back and heard our boss say foul things about them. Mostly side comments, and passive aggressive things. One example is him bluntly asking me if I found out whether one client was gay. Then trying to justify this clients specific level of cleaning because he might be gay.) - Our boss favored specific women. They got a lot more than everyone else did and he tried to make it fair by lying to them. He made comments about our appearance, especially when we didn't wear makeup. - If you have any medical need, our boss will ignore it and put you in danger. (One employee blatantly informed him that she could not drive due to a medication she was on. She had a doctors note. I stood up for her after he assigned her to drive and he got very verbally angry, before apologising privately (He asked me to not overstep my bounds, and then proceeded to say if she doesn't want to drive then she wont work). - The hours are not consistent. - No workmans' compensation until after a car accident happened and employees pushed for help (The business didn't have it at all). - Working harder doesn't always mean you'll get the tip at the end. - Cleaning employee homes often lead to disagreements. As the way we were taught doesn't often align with the way they prefer it cleaned (they should pay for more if they want more, but that isn't how that usually went). - Once you are disliked. You are better off quitting.

Pros

Helping people. Especially people who are unable to clean their home.

Cons

Poor management Trainer was judgmental and unwelcoming Let go because I’m not a “good fit” whatever that means. I gave it my all to work hard and learn with a smile on my face. Wasn’t easy because I have never done it before, but I gave it my all. Not transparent about anything.
