Restructure Failing, Org Failing

Pros

The mission is great and the people drawn to it are great.

Cons

Management decided to give themselves raises while restructuring according to an EOS system. Supposedly the EOS sytem is supposed to fix upper managment, but it only seems to have broken them more. It was brought up by a surplus guy in a organization wide meeting that the CEO is acting as the visionary and the integrator in the EOS thing which those two are supposed to be separate. Our turnover rate is excessive and getting worse, probably due to KPIs increasing every month while losing staff creating burnout. Upper management complains about money and blames lower staff. Even though any money issues come from upper management. Curious how the rumor is that the CEO just bought a multi-million dollar house when the org suffers. Another rumor is that we are under investigation from the department of human services over employee treatment.

Pros

Entry level staff and entry level managment care about one another and mission.

Cons

Zero communication from C-Suite except for bad news and finger pointing. C-Suite is so far removed from day to day and what is actually going on. Zero attempt to try to understand why there is so much turn over. HR is an actual joke!! Safety concerns ALL around in ALL markets. The care for community growth/staff growth is gone. The time and care spent into building quality products is gone. It's only about the numbers. No thought into QA any longer. Just rush and pump out junk from ALL markets. More and more unhappy customers. I don't blaim them. Low income folks spend their money only to receive broken products. It is such a shame to see what is happening to the PCs for People "mission"...it is truly lost. Only way to get it back is to make changes that need to start at the TOP.

Pros

Workers are about the mission.

Cons

This organization has lost sight of its mission, and upper management is dangerously incompetent. No regard for worker safety; Denver warehouse is constantly overfilled and C-Suite has consistently ignored our concerns over being out of compliance with NAID, OSHA, and fire regulations, our trucks are maintained inconsistently and pose a danger to drive as well as not being secured properly to protect our clients' data. Casey Sorenson is a joke as CEO - he was monitoring cameras on our loading dock recently and was more concerned about a damn dustpan being out than the 20 gaylords of tech SITTING OUTSIDE THE CAGE, because we weren't allowed to stop doing pickups due to space constraints. Clients need to know we're handling their downstream data properly, and customers (low income families, mind you!) need to know they can get quality refurbished computers that actually work, instead of stuff that's been rushed to ship because the CEO wants to "expand the business."
