Pros

Company is stable as it's affiliated with the govt

Cons

The top management doesn't care about the staff's well being, always have a change of mind at a split second, causing unnecessary overtime. High turnover for certain departments, as their long-serving director is a micromanager and likes to do power play with his staff.

Pros

Free Cable Car Rides but you will be used to it anyways and it will not be special after a while

Cons

The management is highly political, and the human resource function is highly incapable. What is told about the company as being a people developer and a caring company is an extreme balderdash, laced with sweet toppings to present to the outsider as a sweet offering. The company can be comparable to a bulky machine that is old and slow moving and a merciless bulldog that shreds your flesh to pieces. The employee is also expected to take on various activities on the side. There is lack of diversity at top management and human resource.

Pros

The company have great and above average staff benefit compare to other SME.

Cons

HR is like non existence, they can't be reached when we need help on HR matters and turning a deaf ear regarding courses for employee to attend. We are all signed up to attend online courses, byt there's no support or consideration for those who are not familiar with IT and thise who don't even have a computer to use despite we shared multiple times. We are left to figure out or seek help from our family, colleagues and sometime seek help from our department bosses to help us inorder for us to attend the online course. I want to comment, as a simple low level employee doing simple job and tasks. I don't understand why the courses selected for me and my colleagues doesn't make our work better and it's alian to us as we don't understand and it's not something we are doing at work, it's so hard to understand and so stressful to pass the exam. Also the company and HR doesn't seen to take into consideration of current market practice for salary and career progression according to market rate and practice. Salary is really low and career progression is slow till it doesn't seen existed. I have seen other low level job paying 50% more then my current salary and it really make me and my other colleagues wanting to leave the company if we were able to secure a position with these company, we will leave the company for another.
