      layoffs on a sinking ship

      Pros

      Had momentum with state modernizations contracts but they all fell through. Sales force has been decimated.

      Cons

      Company focus is now layoffs, layoff, layoffs. Business is falling apart, low moral, and once upon a time dream of a big upside has totally disappeared as IT solutions were not well accepted by government, especially in Iowa.

      Great potential, but too many problems

      Pros

      Generally friendly co-workers. Good work-life balance. Is located in an industry (unemployment insurance) that should take off, as we're close to a recession. Lots of state systems that are outdated, and need to be updated.

      Cons

      Company is falling apart after losing state unemployment system contracts. Mass layoffs began in November 2018; many experienced employees left for different positions. Quality of remaining workers leaves much to be desired. Middle management hid many problems while this was happening.
