Boys Club & Workplace Drama

Pros

Corporate bandwagon atmosphere (if you're in to that) with monthly meetings and inspirational discussions. Employee discount is GREAT. I worked for the medical department and genuinely enjoyed meeting patients. VERY caring manager- Doug Lundy, but sadly he's the only trustworthy person in management.

Cons

Male-centric boys club, I saw discrimination and harassment first hand. Unfortunately this "club" goes back so far with so many long term employees this environment will never change. New employees are discouraged from taking any time off for the FIRST FULL YEAR of employment. No paid time off, except holidays, until you've been around for a full year. Incredibly antiquated training program and dilapidated office setting, break room was straight out of 1978.

Pros

Laid back environment Can be on phone all day when not busy Rewarding job

Cons

Favoritism is high Recognition doesn't exist if you're not a favorite They require you to go above and beyond what should be expected for a raise to be a consideration
