Pros
Talented engineering staff - the people are good. Negotiate a top starting salary because benefits and wages are being severely reduced in the face of CA layoffs. The place to be if you relish the challenge of the new standard - 60 to 80 hour work weeks with impossible goals.
Cons
Management is a joke. Collaboration between teams is ill-defined and ad-hoc. The air is competitive and survivalist. There are no development standards or guidelines or even initial setup and training - it is each man for himself the instant he walks in the door. I have seen many talented engineers thrown under the bus in my two years here simply because they could be.
