Pros

Competitive salary, flexible working/wfh, parking, easy to commute from valleys and surrounding area

Cons

Senior Management do not listen seriously to concerns or suggestions by staff working at the 'coal face', newer managers brought in do not communicate well with the staff they are meant to be supporting, and also do not have enough technical knowledge to grasp the work carried out by the engineers, leading to painful miscommunication and unrealistic expectations. New managers have a habit of misremembering events and conversations, senior managers and HR do not have the proverbial backs of lower level staff. Generally unsupportive and stiffling environment with poor feedback and support.

Pros

This used to be a respected British quality tech company. There are literally no benefits for working here, unless you are in the CEO's immediate team of yes-folk.

Cons

Job security is poor. High risk of dismissal for no lawful reason. High turnover of staff, many due to the CEO and his management team. You will be under the control of semi-skilled PMs who have taken the decisions away from the technical teams and subject matter experts and just be run into the ground bashing JIRA ticket in a waterfall manner and have totally unreasonable working conditions and demands placed on you. Totally waterfall with the PMs dictating it all. This is causing the departure of all valuable skilled staff The only people who seem to be allowed to work normally and even take annual leave are the CEO's team. Everyone else is guilted and shamed into working excessively. Any pushback against this will get you fired, and not even in any accordance with UK ERA 1996. Discrimination is rife within the business now, as is bullying. Very sad indeed. A once brilliant company, Overseas staff on visas used extensively, but threatened to have this sponsorship cancelled if they "step out of line".

Pros

Pros: • A few genuinely kind and talented coworkers • You’ll learn how strong your boundaries are (the hard way)

Cons

• Toxic CEO and senior leadership team • Fear-driven management • Zero accountability • Constant turnover and burnout • No real growth or support I’ve never worked anywhere with a culture as toxic as this one. The problem starts right at the top — the CEO sets the tone with fear, favoritism, and constant drama. Instead of leading with respect or integrity, they thrive on intimidation and control. It’s a “yes-man” environment where speaking up or questioning anything is seen as disloyal. The lack of females who work here is quite apparent , they don’t last long and are undermined until they go or are pushed ! There’s zero accountability in leadership. Mistakes get swept under the rug, blame gets passed around, and those who actually try to fix problems are made to feel like the problem ( or they just disappear!!) Managers mirror the CEO’s behavior — gossip, backstabbing, and emotional manipulation are just part of the daily routine. It’s sad because there were some great people -experienced smart, hardworking employees who genuinely cared - but they get crushed under the weight of poor leadership and endless chaos. Burnout is rampant, turnover is constant, and morale couldn’t be lower. If you value your mental health, run the other way. No job, no paycheck, and no title is worth the emotional toll this place takes.
